Creating great-tasting beef requires more than just grass.I made burgers over the weekend with the ground beef, and they were absolutely delicious. I can't wait to try the brisket on the smoker!”

Gotta say, this burger is quite good. Thanks for the dinner. As usual, it is great to see you guys.

The one thing I’ve discovered about our customers is this: while they are initially drawn to our “Grass-Fed” and “Local” labels, they stay for the flavor! Will and Steve’s experiences are not unique. On our Reviews page, you’ll find numerous testimonials from satisfied customers praising The North Coast Ranch. Sure, our beef is grass-fed, all-natural and local, but it’s the “best tasting beef” that often comes up in conversations. Occasionally, potential customers will tell me they’ve tried grass-fed beef before and didn’t enjoy it. Some have even had disappointing experiences, even with beef they’ve purchased from friends. Clearly, grass-fed alone isn’t enough. The exceptional flavor our customers rave about is no accident. It’s the result of our approach. From the moment a calf is born to its journey to the processor, we obsess over the details that influence the meat’s taste…fresh water, clean air, lots and lots of grass and the occasional back rub.
We also prioritize minimizing stress for our herd. We even ban yelling around the cows, as stress negatively impacts both the quality and taste of the beef.
Yes, we do things differently here. Sometimes, my fellow farmer friends question my methods, thinking I might be overdoing it. But I always respond, “It works!”, then I invite them to cook up a pound of our ground beef and see for themselves. So far, there haven’t been any complaints. Want to try some ground beef? Running low as you near the end of a busy grilling season? Buy Now. In the next two months, we will only be processing a few grass-finished steers….supply will be limited. Reserve your grass-fed beef today. The next opportunity likely won’t come until next summer…late June or July 2025. A ½ side of beef is approx158 lbs. That’s about 5 cubic feet. A small chest freezer for under $200 will hold this amount. Talk about food security. Cheers!
